Departmental Secretaries Elizabeth Truss (Environment) and Sajid Javid (Business) yesterday confirmed that the BIS Environmental Regulation Team is to move into the Defra Environmental Quality Directorate. Registration for packaging waste closes in three weeks

Producers obligated under the packaging waste regulations have just three weeks left to calculate the packaging handled in 2015 and report this to the enforcement agencies. Hazardous Waste producer site registrations to end

Fly-tipping prevention – Fixed penalties introduced in England

A new law made yesterday comes into force on May 9th this year allowing waste collection authorirites in England to issue fixed penalty notices for fly-tipping offences.
